I'm running a study next week and the week after: "Behind virtual world building: VR indoor visualization". Here's what will happen: participants will explore a rendered everyday living environment in VR wearing the HTC Vive Pro VR headset (an image of the VR environment is attached), interact with the space, and perform memorization tasks. Come to the study if you like VR or never tried it!
Participant will receive $10, and the total time commitment is about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The experiment location is in 321 Walker Building. (And of course, your participation or non-participation in the study has no impact on your grade for Geog 260 and your data is completely anonymous.)
We invite you to participate in the experiments if you meet all of the following criteria:
1. 18-30 years old
3. Normal vision or near-normal vision with/without correction. If you are near-sighted, be sure to wear contacts during the experiment as glasses can be hard to wear inside a VR headset.
4. are not cognitively impaired.
